Connecticut Woman Scores Two $100,000 Lottery Wins, Plans Florida Retirement
A Stamford, Connecticut, woman has scored two $100,000 lottery wins in just three months! Now, she and her husband are planning to retire and move to Florida.
Her latest win came in the Connecticut Lottery’s Cash5 drawing on Saturday, October 24. She previously won the same amount in July.
This time, luck came from a different strategy. The woman usually picks numbers based on birthdays and anniversaries, but she let the computer select her numbers for the latest drawing.
Her husband purchased the tickets at Glenbrook News & Variety in Stamford. While checking the winning numbers over her morning coffee, she realized she had hit the jackpot again and immediately called him.
“I think I'm dreaming…we hit CASH5 again!” she exclaimed.
The couple now considers the store “the luckiest store in Stamford,” and there may be a good reason for that reputation.
Just four days before her latest win, on October 20, the same store sold a winning Connecticut Apizza scratch-off ticket worth $50,000.
With another major prize secured, this Stamford couple could soon be heading toward retirement in the Sunshine State!
