Clay County man won Gold Rush Classic scratch-off game worth $900k
A lucky man from Clay County named Terry Marcum won a whopping sum of $900,000 playing Florida Lottery's $5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was sold at the 3210 U.S. 17 Gate station in Orange Park. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $9,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.
The winner recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and chose to receive his winnings in a lump-sum payment of $710,000 after state and federal taxes.
The Florida Lottery is the government-operated lottery of the U.S. state of Florida.
The $5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic launched in October 2018 and features 30 $1 million prizes, four of which remain.
