Central Islip resident woman wins a lottery of $1 million lotto prize, the woman head start the summer with some handsome cash in her account. 

Lynn Powell purchased her million dollar lotto winning.at Valero, located at 404 Clinton St. in Hempstead.

She decided to get her lottery prize as a one time lump sum of $585,900 instead of getting in installments. 

Lynn Powell, of Central Islip, claimed her $1 million top prize on the New York Lottery's Emerald 10s scratch-off game, the New York State Lottery announced on Tuesday.
