Canterbury woman won $20,000 worth prize playing the CT Lottery

Canterbury woman won $20,000 worth prize playing the CT Lottery, the winner will soon be $20k times richer than before. 

Gina Sherman won playing Bonus Cash after she purchased the lucky ticket Friday at Wasu Market in New London.

The winner shared her name and refused to share more personal information about her. 

She has no plans right now, so she said she would be saving the lottery money. 

The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.
