Canadian Lottery Player Wins $10 Million Lotto Max Jackpot

A Canadian lottery player is waking up $10 million richer after hitting the jackpot in the latest Lotto Max draw.

The winning draw was held Tuesday, August 25, with the numbers 10, 15, 23, 25, 28, 31 and 52, plus bonus number 43. One lucky ticket matched all seven numbers and scored the top prize.

According to OLG, the winning ticket was sold somewhere in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Other Big Winners

  • 20 players matched six of seven numbers and will each receive $6,856.20.
  • Two players landed $100,000 MaxPlus prizes, with tickets sold in North Bay, Ontario, and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
  • No one won the $134,578.10 second prize, the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra prize in British Columbia, or the $1 million Encore prize.

This jackpot win comes just days after another huge Lotto Max victory. On Friday, August 21, a Quebec ticket matched all seven numbers and won a $55 million jackpot.

The next Lotto Max draw is set for Friday, August 28, with the jackpot resetting to $10 million. Ten MaxPlus prizes worth $100,000 each will also be up for grabs.
