Canadian lottery player finally wins $100k after 20 years of trying
A lucky lottery player from Canada named Kevin Lahey won a whopping sum of $100,000 playing OLG's Merry million game.
The winning ticket was purchased at A&T Variety on Main Street in Cambridge. The store will receive a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The winner told lottery officials that he has been a regular lottery player for over 20 years. When he plays lottery, his favorite games are Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max.
“I checked my ticket using the OLG app and thought I won $100, so I went and grabbed my glasses,” he recalled.
Lahey recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and plans to retire from his work and enjoy his retirement.
