Broward County resident won $1 million worth jackpot in Scratch off ticket

Broward County resident won $1 million worth jackpot in Scratch off ticket, the winner will soon be $1 million times richer than before. 

The winning lottery ticket cane from Kwik Stop at 2201 Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. 

Ricardo Canales, who is 55 years old of Fort Lauderdale, purchased the 500X THE CASH scratch-off game for just $50 and in return took $1 million. 

Canales chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.

The retailer will also receive a bonus of $2,000 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
