Brampton resident won $1 million worth jackpot in Lotto 6/49 draw, the winner will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
Paulo Sousa, who is 33 years old, purchased his winning lottery ticket at Petro Pass on Dixie Road in Mississauga.
He is one of the regular lottery player and often chooses Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49.
When he saw the jackpot he went into the state of shock, and thought that he might have a heart attack.
“I had to get my wife to look at it because I was in disbelief,” said Sousa.
After seeing the prize his wife also freaked out, it was unbelievable for her.
When asked about his future plans, he said that he’ll be using the money to buy a home for his family and will also be investing some for his children's education.
