Big Powerball lottery ticket sold in Michigan

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Monday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery.

There was one ticket sold matching five numbers, but not the Powerball number, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association that administers the game. The ticket with five numbers was sold in Michigan and is worth $1 million.

The numbers in Monday evening’s draw are 9, 25, 27, 53, 66 and the Powerball number is 5.

The next drawing will be on Wednesday with the estimated jackpot at $550 million with a cash prize option of $266 million. The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
