Bay City Resident Wins $1 Million Jackpot with Michigan Lottery Ticket from Local Market

Someone in the Bay City area struck it rich with a Michigan Lottery ticket purchase on Tuesday.

A lucky player won a $1 million jackpot in the Cash Is King/Queen instant game with a ticket purchased at Jack's Fruit and Meat Market at 1000 Salzburg Ave.

The winner did not immediately come forward to claim their prize.

They now have one year to accept their winnings at Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

The winner can remain anonymous under Michigan law, because the Cash Is King/Queen game is in-state only.

The $1 million prize in the Cash Is King/Queen instant game is the first of three top prizes available.

Two more $1 million prizes remain in the game, which can be purchased at Michigan Lottery retailers across the state.
