Barrie couple won $100,000 worth jackpot in Encore draw

Barrie couple won $100,000 worth jackpot in Encore draw, the couple will soon be $100,000 times richer than before. 

The couple purchased there winning lottery ticket at KFF Smoke & Gift on Essa Road in Barrie.

Maria Caetano and Joao Gomes De Almeida are the regular lottery players and before this jackpot they have never won such big. 

"We kept verifying the ticket together because we couldn't believe our eyes," Joao said.

It was an unbelievable moment for the couple, to see the jackpot for the first time. 

They plan on celebrating there first jackpot win with there family members.
