Balmain man hits $4.6 million in Powerball lottery ticket, the winner will soon be a millionaire with $4.6 million in his bank account. 

“I checked my account on Friday morning but didn’t look at my Powerball entry,” he exclaimed.

“I was actually in the process of purchasing a ticket into another draw!

“It was only on Saturday that I noticed the win. My first reaction was utter disbelief. I had to sit down for a few minutes because I thought I was about to pass out from the excitement.

The winning man’s 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s official lotteries.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1366 on Thursday 21 July 2022 were 9, 8, 25, 7, 26, 2, 24. The all-important Powerball number was 9.

The Sydney winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1366, drawn Thursday 21 July 2022. He took home $4,645,700.55.
