Aurora resident wins Maxmillions prize worth $1 million

One Aurora resident named Philip Cosentino won a whopping sum of $1 million Maxmillion prize in the October 14 Lotto Max draw.

The winning ticket was purchased at King Convenience on King Road in King City. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

Cosentino has been playing the lottery for over two decades and won thousands of dollars playing Pools.

He plans to go for a world tour with his wife and save the rest of the winning amount for retirement. 

Lotto Max drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday. Lotto Max is a Canadian lottery game coordinated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, as one of the country's three national lottery games.
