Powerball Details
Powerball drawings are held at 7:59 p.m. Arizona time every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. A ticket costs $2 per play in Arizona.
To play, choose five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Players can pick their own numbers or use a random Quick Pick.
Powerball has nine ways to win:
- 5 white balls + Powerball — Jackpot
- 5 white balls — $1 million
- 4 white balls + Powerball — $50,000
- 4 white balls — $100
- 3 white balls + Powerball — $100
- 3 white balls — $7
- 2 white balls + Powerball — $7
- 1 white ball + Powerball — $4
- Powerball only — $4
For an extra $1, players can add Power Play, which can multiply eligible non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or even 10 times when the jackpot is $150 million or less.
How to Claim an Arizona Lottery Prize
Arizona Lottery retailers can redeem prizes of up to $100 and may cash prizes up to $599.
For prizes above $599, winners can claim by mail or visit an Arizona Lottery office. Mailed claims require a completed winner claim form, the signed winning ticket and a copy of a government-issued ID.
The Phoenix Arizona Lottery Office at 4740 E. University Drive can cash prizes of any amount. It is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
