Apopka man wins $1 Million recently in Florida scratch off lottery game
A Seminole County man is a millionaire after winning a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery.
Robert White claimed the $1 million prize after purchasing his winning ticket from the Quick Serv on Bear Lake Road in Apopka.
The 61-year-old Apopka man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.
The store that sold the winning ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus commission.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also said that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
