Another scratch off lottery player from Allegheny County scoops a big jackpot

A lucky winner in Allegheny County is holding a scratch-off lottery ticket worth $3 million. Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in the $160 Million Cash Blowout game was sold at BP at 1717 Freeport Road.

The store in Harrison Township will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket. The scratch-off game costs $30 and offers top prizes of $3 million.

In its announcement, the lottery said, "Scratch-offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.

The lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed."

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game's end-sale date posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery's website. All winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
