Allegan County resident won $862K while playing Michigan Lottery fast cash game

A three-person lottery club raked in more than $800,000 playing a Michigan Lottery fast cash game in November.

According to a Michigan Lottery press release, the Bunker Hill Lottery Club bought its Mega Money Match Fast Cash ticket at Bunker Hill Chill & Grill in Dorr, located in Allegan County.

“We recently formed our Lottery club, and this was only our third time playing together,” said the club’s representative.

“We were at the restaurant for quite a while playing Fast Cash games because the jackpot was so big. We would each throw in money to purchase a ticket and then I would scan the ticket on my Lottery app to see if we won.

“When I scanned one of the tickets and confetti came up on the screen with the winning amount, I was speechless.

I slid my phone down to show the other two club members and none of us could believe it.

We were so excited but tried to stay calm so that other people in the restaurant wouldn’t catch on to how much we won. It has been such an exciting, overwhelming, and fun experience!”
