A Winning ticket sold at Brentwood Towne Square shopping center

It wasn't the big jackpot, but someone in the Pittsburgh area has a $200,000 winning ticket from the Powerball drawing on Monday.

The ticket was sold at Giant Eagle on Towne Square Way in Brentwood, Allegheny County. Pennsylvania Lottery officials said the ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn (5, 8, 9, 17, 41) and the red Powerball (21).

The ticket buyer spent an extra $1 for the Power Play option, which multiplied the prize from $50,000 to $200,000. The winner has one year to claim the prize, and the store gets a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

Another $200,000 winning ticket was sold in Williamsport, Lycoming County, while a ticket sold in Garnet Valley, Delaware County, won $1 million by matching all five white balls.

No ticket matched all five numbers and the Powerball, so the jackpot will jump to an estimated $1 billion for the next drawing Wednesday night.
