The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Hughes Foodmarket in Ballymoney.
EuroMillions Plus draw was sold in the village where Grainne Hughes, who owns Hughes foodmarket with her husband Bryan, was overjoyed to hear the news from the midweek EuroMillions draw: “There has been such a buzz around the place since the we got the call from the National Lottery. It’s great to get good news like this and to hear that one of our customers wins that lottery.
"Our customer base is a mix of locals as well as of course seasonal trade at weekends and coming into summer so this is a real boost for the village. This is also the biggest prize that we have ever sold so it’s very exciting. We hope the winner enjoys the win and the good news!”, they said.
