A scratch off lottery player from Lubbock bags a big jackpot recently

A fortunate resident from Lubbock has won a million dollars on a scratcher that was sold out at a convenience store at 58th Street and Utica Avenue.

The Texas Lottery Commission said this was the sixth of 15 top prizes worth 1 million dollars to be claimed in the Millionaire Maker game. This game offers more than 200 million dollars.

“Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.54, including break-even prizes,” the commission said.

The winner has elected to stay anonymous.

Also the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.

The winner told the reporters that, "I will be paying all my due bills and invest the rest money in stocks after claiming the winning prize money".
