A Philly man wins $1 million recently after fortune favours him

A Philadelphia man experienced an incredible stroke of luck when he won a $1 million lottery prize.

Tony Meyers, a resident of the city's Bustleton neighborhood, purchased a Cash 5 ticket from a local 7-Eleven store and matched all five numbers, resulting in a spectacular payday.

Meyers said he was in disbelief when he learned about his winnings. "I'm still not sure I'm awake," he said. "A million dollars is a lot of money.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it." Meyers said he plans to use a portion of his winnings to help out his family and friends.

"I want to make sure I'm taking care of those who have been by my side," he said.

The lucky winner says he plans to use the remaining money to invest in his future and to travel. "Life is short," he said. "I want to use this money to make sure I'm living it to the fullest."
