A Pennsylvania guy wins a big jackpot in mega millions lottery game

Mega Millions players in Pennsylvania won thousands in prizes in Friday night’s drawing as the jackpot continues to inch closer to a spot as one of the top five largest in game history.

One player in Pa. won $50,000 by matching four of the five numbers, the Mega Ball and by purchasing Megaplier.

Over 77,000 players in the state won smaller prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to lottery officials. A ticket sold in New York matched all five numbers, but not the Mega Ball, winning that player $1 million.

However, no one won the jackpot which was worth an estimated $815 million.
