A Massachusetts state lottery player from Leominster wins a big jackpot

A “Mass Cash” ticket sold in Leominster won a Massachusetts State Lottery player the $100,00 prize Sunday. The ticket was purchased at Jayzi Mart in Leominster on Sunday, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The store is located at 9 Pleasant St. “Mass Cash” drawings occur daily at 9 p.m. Tickets to play are $1. A player must choose five numbers between 1 and 35, and there are three available prizes to win.

If all five numbers match the numbers drawn, the “Mass Cash” player wins $100,000. If they match four numbers, the prize is $250, and if they match three, the prize is $10.

There was also a $1 million lottery prize claimed on Thursday, which was sold from a store called E Market in Salem.

It was from the “$4,000,000 Diamonds” scratch ticket game, and was just the second prize to be claimed from the lottery game.
