A lucky Auckland man strikes it rich with a big winning jackpot

Auckland man has just become one of the luckiest people in New Zealand after hitting the jackpot with a record-breaking win.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, won a staggering $6.9 million with Lotto NZ’s Powerball draw.

He is now the biggest ever winner from the Auckland region and the second biggest winner in the history of the game.

The winner bought his winning ticket from the Sylvia Park Lotto store, and said he was “stunned” when he discovered he had won.

He plans to use his winnings to help out his family, take a few trips and save for the future. The winning numbers were 3, 4, 10, 15, 22, 23 and the Powerball was 10.
