A local winning lottery ticket is sold out in Kootenai County

The Idaho lottery has confirmed that a ticket sold at Arnie's Payless Gas on Tuesday night in Kootenai County won a $445,000 jackpot. The winning numbers were 14, 20, 27, 28, and 42.

The winning ticket must match all five numbers and be signed by the winner before presenting the ticket for payment.

"Idaho, especially north Idaho, continues to be a lucky place for players to win big prizes," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.

"We are encouraging everyone who played 5 Star Draw for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners."

Last month, Arnie's Payless Gas also sold a winning Powerball ticket, awarding a lucky player a $2 million payout.

5 Star Draw tickets are $5 and the game draws twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday nights. The jackpot begins at 250,000 and increases with each draw until it is won.
