A Group of friends won $1 million worth jackpot in Encore draw

A Group of friends won $1 million worth jackpot in Encore draw, the winning jackpot prize will split equally between the group of friends. 

The winning lottery ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Waterloo Road in Timmins.

The group of 27 people bought tickets together, most of them from the Timmins or Greater Sudbury area.

The group leader Sylvie Bureau of Timmins, told the lottery officials that, the group usually plays Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 lottery twice a week. 

The group of friends is buying the lottery ticket for the last 10 years and finally they have got a big jackpot in there hands. 

When Bureau checked the lottery ticket, she was amazed by looking at the zeros that were in the ticket, she finally counted it which came out to be a $1 million prize. 

She and her husband called every member of the group to inform them about there win. 

Bureau said she plans to pay off some bills and do some home renovations with her portion of the winnings and she also wants to hold a big family party.
