A Greensboro man won $1 million with $10 lottery scratch-off ticket

A Greensboro man won $1 million with $10 lottery scratch-off ticket, the winner of the lottery ticket will soon be $1 million times richer than before. 

Quinnon Brunson bought his 50X The Cash ticket from the Alamance Food Mart on Alamance Church Road.

He redeemed his ticket Friday from lottery headquarters and selected the option of getting the winning prize as a one time lump sum and took home $426,063 after taxes. 

The winner has nit decided what he wants to do with the winning lottery prize. 

Ticket sales from games like the 50X The Cash make it possible for the lottery to raise $2.5 million for education.
