A gas station from Dearborn sold out Powerball winning lottery ticket

Michigan’s Powerball jackpot has now surged to an estimated $800 million after no one won the Oct. 26 drawing.

One lucky person in Dearborn did win $1 million in that drawing though.

According to the Michigan Lottery, a ticket was sold at the Shell Gas Station, 7000 Greenfield Road, in Dearborn.

While the ticket hasn’t been claimed yet, the winning numbers are — 19-36-37-46-56.

The million dollar winner matched all the white balls, but not the Powerball, which was 24.

Five other tickets also matched the five white balls. Those tickets were purchased in California, Connecticut, Illinois and New York.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
