A fortunate woman from polk county wins $2 million recently

A Polk County woman is $2 million richer after winning the top prize playing the $2,000,000 BONUS CASHWORD scratch-off game, according to a news release.

The Florida Lottery says that?Geraldine Gimblet, of?Lakeland, claimed her jackpot on Friday at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

She?chose to receive?her?winnings?as?a one-time, lump-sum payment?of $1,645,000.

“At first the gas station clerk thought there were no tickets left, but I asked him to double check because I like the crossword games the best.

He found the last one!" Gimblet shared after being asked about the story of her big win.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
