A fortunate resident from Raytown wins $5.2 million recently

The Missouri Lottery says someone has purchased the first jackpot-winning ticket of the year for its Lotto game. That means someone is $5.2 million richer, and it’s time to check your tickets.

The ticket was sold at the Easy Pickin, located at 8900 E. 350 Highway in Raytown. It matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night: 15, 20, 22, 27, 34 and 38.

This is the fourth time this year the Missouri Lottery has had someone win a million dollars or more this year.

Whoever has the winning ticket can claim the prize, by appointment only, at any of the Missouri Lottery’s offices in Kansas City, Jefferson City, Springfield or St. Louis.

Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize, or in this case until July 22. The Lotto jackpot now resets to $1 million for its next drawing on Saturday.
