A central Iowa man is $250,000 richer after winning one of the top prizes in the Iowa Lottery's "Payline" scratch game.
Paul Myers of Ames purchased his winning ticket from a Casey’s located at 201 E Maple St in Roland. He claimed his prize on Friday at the Iowa Lottery headquarters in Clive.
"Payline" is a $20 scratch game that offers players an overall 1 in 2.40 chance of winning something, but Myers' big win had odds of 1 in 157,050.
