A fortunate Brentwood guy wins $50,000 recently in a lottery game
A $50,000 winning lottery ticket was sold in Brentwood.
According to a Tennessee Lottery news release, the unidentified lucky player purchased the ticket at the Moores Lane Circle K convenience center where they matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball in Saturday night's drawing.
No additional information about the winning ticket or the winning player is available until the prize is claimed.
The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation reports that more than $6.5 billion has been raised to fund education programs since 2004, with players winning more than $19.5 billion in prizes and Lottery retailers earning more than $1.8 billion in commissions.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to come forward, validate their ticket, and begin the process of claiming their substantial prize.
