A Fayetteville Circle K guy wins $10,000 recently in a lottery game

A lucky lottery ticket purchased in Cumberland County is a big winner after Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

According to the North Carolina Education Lottery, a Mega Millions ticket sold at the Circle K located at 5336 Cliffdale Rd. in Fayetteville won $10,000.

To win that amount, the ticket matched numbers on four of the white balls plus the yellow Mega Ball.

No one won the big jackpot, which has climbed to $425 million as of Saturday afternoon.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday night. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
