A Boston guy wins $2 million recently in Massachusetts state lottery game

One lucky Massachusetts State Lottery player scored a $100,000 prize from a $2 scratch ticket they bought at a convenience store in Boston.

The $100,000 prize, which was claimed Friday, was won from the game “$100,000 Diamonds.”

The winning ticket was bought at the Quality Market convenience store on N. Beacon Street in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, according to the State Lottery’s website.

The odds of winning $100,000 the highest prize that can be won in “$100,000 Diamonds,” are one in 3.024 million.

The lucky ticket-holder who took home the $100,000 prize Friday was not the only fortunate lottery player in the commonwealth this week.

On Thursday, a liquor store in New Bedford called Jay’s Wine & Spirit sold a $100,000 ticket.

On Wednesday, a $1 million prize was claimed from a scratch ticket sold at a liquor and convenience store in Dracut called Dracut Town Variety.
