A big winning $50,000 lottery ticket is sold out in Onalaska recently
Despite no one winning the now record-breaking Powerball jackpot of $1.9 billion, five people were sold $50,000 winning tickets across Wisconsin Saturday, including one sold in Onalaska.
The next Powerball drawing is Monday night, 9:59 p.m. It will be the 41st consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner. The last winning jackpot ticket was sold on August 3 in Pennsylvania.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
