A big winning $150,000 lottery ticket is sold out in Cumberland County

A Powerball lottery ticket worth $150,000 was sold by a Cumberland County retailer in the March 27 drawing, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The Karns supermarket located at 1706 Spring Road, Carlisle, will get a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The ticket matched four of the five balls drawn, 19-26-36-43-58, and the red Powerball 14 to win the $150,000.

Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have only been worth $50,000, the press release said.

Winners are not announced until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winning tickets should immediately be signed on the back and winners should call the Lottery at 800-692-7481.

The Powerball jackpot currently stands at $132 million, or $71.4 million cash. The next drawing will be held on March 29.
