A $1 million scratch off lottery player from Andover wins a big jackpot

A lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold recently in Andover, according to Mass Lottery.

The lucky ticket was sold Monday at a Mobil gas station. The winner was in the $10,000,000 Premier Cash game, a scratch-off ticket that costs $20.

The winner will have the option of taking a $650,000 lump-sum payment or accepting $50,000 annual payments for 20 years.

The odds of winning $1 million in this game are 1 in 1,890,000, according to Mass Lottery.

There are still three remaining $10 million top prizes and eight remaining $1 million prizes in the $10,000,000 Premier Cash game.

In May, a $10 million prize was sold in the same scratch-off game at Yujo Restaurant in Dracut.
