$55 Million Lotto Max Jackpot-Winning Ticket Sold in Greater Victoria

The "Saanich North" region of Greater Victoria, British Columbia, has sold the winning ticket for the $55 million Lotto Max jackpot in the draw on February 28th.

This is the first Lotto Max jackpot win for a ticket purchased in British Columbia this year, with the ticket being the only one to match all seven winning numbers: 1, 3, 8, 24, 35, 42, and 43.

According to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.

The winner has up to 52 weeks from the draw date to claim their prize.

At this time, the identity of the winner and the retail location where the ticket was purchased remain unknown.

The BCLC has not yet confirmed the specific municipality or municipalities covered by the "Saanich North" region.
