�500,000-winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Drogheda Street

The �500,000-winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw, Friday at the Spar store on Drogheda Street in the heart of the town.

Owner of the store which sold the lucky ticket, said news of the local win has gripped his customers and the surrounding town.

"My phone rang late last night, and it was my local National Lottery rep", said the owner.

Last night�s �500,000 win in Balbriggan is the 22nd EuroMillions Plus top prize win in Ireland in 2022.

The winning numbers in Friday's EuroMillions Plus draw were: 02, 09, 31, 40, 48.
