$13 million lottery winner wished that only if he could buy a car but instead he won such a big lottery and became a millionaire in an instant. 

A man from Auckland, who bought a Lotto ticket in a hope that if only he could purchase a new care for his family but instead he won a lottery of $5 million. 

The man said he bought the ticket in a hope that he could go in the draw to win a Range Rover.

“I’ve been wanting to buy a new car for a while and so I thought ‘why not, I’ll buy the dip’,” he said.

The man said he was enjoying a muesli breakfast on Sunday before logging into MyLotto to find that he has won.
