$1 Million winning lottery ticket is sold in Milford Mill area recently

A recent Powerball game player is a million dollars richer after a winning ticket was sold in the Milford Mill area.

The $1 million winner was sold at Milford Liquors located at 8100 Liberty Road in Baltimore after the Aug. 31 drawing.

The winner almost claimed the Powerball jackpot, only missing the drawing by one number.

The winning numbers to match were 7, 8, 19, 24 and 28; the Powerball was 1.

The $1 million winner matched the first five numbers but missed out on winning the jackpot because the ticket did not match the Powerball number.

The Milford Liquors earns a $2,500 bonus from the lottery for selling the lucky ticket.

Meanwhile, a ticket purchased in Harford County for the Aug. 31 drawing is worth $100,004.
