$1 Million Powerball Prize in Kentucky Nears Expiry as Deadline Approaches
A Powerball ticket worth $1 million, purchased in Henry County, Kentucky, is nearing its expiration date.
The Kentucky Lottery revealed that the ticket was bought at the Pilot Travel Center in Pendleton last year, precisely on July 19, 2023, when the Powerball jackpot reached an estimated $1 billion.
The winner of this unclaimed ticket has until January 15 to claim their prize, but with the lottery headquarters observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 15, the ticket holder must present it at the Kentucky Lottery Corporate office in Louisville, 1011 W. Main St., before 5 p.m. on January 12.
This ticket matched the first five white balls (7-10-11-13-24) but missed the Powerball 24, entitling the owner to the $1 million secondary prize.
