A fortunate South Dakota guy wins a big in mega millions lottery game

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Friday (May 3) evening’s drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing to $306 million.

There was one ticket sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number in South Dakota, lottery officials announced. The ticket is worth $1 million.

The numbers drawn Friday were 6, 13, 15, 53, 56 and the Mega number was 11. The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
