A customer from Bronx store wins $14,000 recently in a lottery

A lucky lottery player in the Bronx has won a top prize in the New York Lottery’s TAKE 5 evening drawing held on May 27.
The winning ticket, worth $14,521.50, was purchased at 850 CORNER STORE, located at 850 Hunts Point Ave. TAKE 5 players select five numbers from a pool of 39, with drawings televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m.
This recent win adds to the excitement around the popular game, encouraging players to check their tickets and claim any prizes.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
