How can I play online
For online play, create the Kentucky Lottery online account and deposit money. Once this is done, choose the Powerball option from the game list. Enter your numbers in a blank circle or click Quick Pick to create a random pick. If you wish to input more than one line of numbers you may add additional plays. Finally, pick if you want a maximum of 26 drawings to add Power Play and choose how many drawings you want to submit. When your choices are right, click 'Add to Cart,' then check out to finish your transaction.

- You must be 18 years or older to participate.
- You may participate online or at any registered Kentucky Lottery dealer.
How to claim awards
- 180 days in Kentucky to collect Powerball winnings. The claims procedure relies upon how much you have scored and whether you have been playing online or in-store.
- $600 or less will be paid immediately to your account online. You may also apply online for prizes up to $49,999 by signing in, providing your Social Security number and indicating whether or not you are a U.S. citizen. A check will then be sent to your online account's address on file.
- Otherwise you may collect an award from $600 to $49,999 at the Regional Office in Lexington or at Louisville's Kentucky Lottery headquarters. Prizes between $50,000 and $99,999 have to be claimed in person at the Regional Bureau or at the Headquarter of Kentucky Lottery and only at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters can the prize over $100,000 be claimed. Players in Retail
You may claim any award from a registered Kentucky Lottery dealer for up to $600. You may file a demand form, visit an approved cash office, the Regional Office in Lexington or the Kentucky Lottery head office in Louisville for sums between $600 and $5,000.
In excess of $5,000 and up to $99,999, proceed to the regional office or the headquarters in Louisville. You will need to visit Kentucky Lottery headquarters if you win $100,000 or more.
You will need to submit your winning ticket and request form to the following address to receive rewards via mail:

You must also submit a copy of a valid picture identification form, such as a driver's licence, as well as a document that validates your social security number, such as the pay stub.
You must select whether to get cash or payout for a jackpot win once you purchase your ticket, even though you may change it within 60 days after you claim the prize.
