Winning ticket worth $1.67 million sold in Sacramento expires, the mega lottery ticket worth $1.67 which was sold in Sacramento wil expire today. 

Six months have passed since the lottery was sold and,California Lottery officials are still waiting for the person who bought the winning ticket to claim the prize.

If the prize has not been claimed till tonight the $1.67 million prize will instead go to California public schools, according to a California Lottery news release.

 

All players are encouraged by the lottery officials to check there ticket over and over so that you don't lose this opportunity.
