$1 million Missouri lottery winner claims prize

The person who won $1 million off of a Mega Millions ticket bought in Columbia earlier this month has claimed their prize.

The winning ticket was sold at the Alta Convenience Store at the Petro-Mart on East St. Charles Road in Columbia. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

The winning numbers were: 9, 15, 46, 55 and 57. And the winning ticket matched all five white-ball numbers drawn to win the “Match 5” prize.

The winner’s name was not revealed, and the winner recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters.

Mega Millions is an American multijurisdictional lottery game, it is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
