An area resident from Fort Stockton is kicking off the week with a hefty $3 million prize after striking lottery gold on the Colossal Cashword Texas Lottery scratch-off game, after purchasing the ticket in Midland.
While the winner elected to remain anonymous, the Fort Stockton resident purchased the $50 scratch-off lottery ticket at OXXO located at 3301 W.
Illinois Ave. in Midland, according to the Texas Lottery Commission.
The lucky winner was the third of four top prizes, each worth $3 million, to be claimed in this game.
