A winning EuroMillions lottery ticket worth €500,000 was sold in Cork for Tuesday’s drawing.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw in McCarthy News, 43 Main Street in Midleton. The store will receive a bonus of €5000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers in EuroMillions Plus draw are: 1, 12, 18, 40, 43.

The National Lottery advises the lucky winner in Cork to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team.

EuroMillions is a transnational lottery that requires seven correct numbers to win the jackpot. 

Draws are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 20:45 CET in Paris. A standard EuroMillions ticket costs €2.50, £2.50 or CHF3.50 per line played, but this depends on the local currency.
