Washington County woman won $3 million jackpot in holiday scratch-off ticket

Washington County woman won $3 million jackpot in holiday scratch-off ticket, the winner will soon be $3 million times richer than before. 

Kim Maurer had a lucky day when her $30 holiday-themed scratch-off lottery ticket paid her $3 million in return. 

"A whole new life that I know nothing about. I'll probably work less, vacation more, spend more time with my grandkids," Maurer said.

She is currently working two full-time jobs. One job was at a store set to close.

She was still not able to believe, she thought that when she will go to claim her prize, the lottery officials will say that it was a mistake. 

The store will also receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
